Divine Will and Predestination : In the Light of the Qur'an and Sunnah (Islamic Creed, 8)

03B

Concerning the Book: Angels are involved in human life from the time a person is conceived in his mother's womb until his death and beyond. Angels console the dying or cause them agony in the afterlife by bringing their souls forward. On the Day of Judgment, angels will be there until they take people to their final destiny in either paradise or hell. On the Last Day, an angel will blast the trumpet. The majority of human societies, both ancient and contemporary, hold some form of belief in angels. The Arabs who lived before Islam thought of them as the daughters of Allah.
Some thinkers believed that the stars in the sky represented angels. Angels are a popular topic in movies and other popular western culture, and there has been a resurgence of interest in them in recent years. However, the beliefs of Muslims are unaffected by these falsehoods. We base our beliefs on the teachings of the Qur'an and Sunnah, which provide us with all the information we require to understand the reality of the unseen, including the realm of angels. Dr. Umar S. al-Ashqar uses Islamic sources in this book to provide us with a thorough understanding of angels, their place in the cosmos, and their interactions with humans both here on Earth and in the hereafter. The Islamic Creed Series Volumes 1–2: Belief in Allah; Volume 3: The World of the Noble Angels; Volume 4: The World of the Jinn and Devils; Volume 5: The Messengers and the Messages; Volume 6: The Day of Resurrection Dr. Umar S. Ashqar, Volumes 7 and 8, Heaven and Hell, and Divine Will and Predestination.

Wonderful Book on Divine Will and Predestination

It is great read for anyone wanting to dive into Qadar, and understanding it from a comprehensive manner. The book is concise yet wonderfully written. Each and every page has a velvet like feel to the pages with a smooth finish, I enjoyed the texture of the book as it adds to the experience of reading.

The author does a great job at introducing the topic, after reading a few pages, one cannot help but appreciate his extensive knowledge in this topic. I hope you will enjoy the book as much I did.
