Professor Abdul Rahim was once an Arabic professor at the Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia. He currently serves as the director of the Translation Centre of the King Fahd Quran Printing Complex. The eight-volume texts by Professor Abdur Rahim provide students with the opportunity to learn Arabic in its traditional structural form. All of the books use applied grammar to teach fundamental language abilities. Every lesson is built around a conversation that demonstrates specific linguistic patterns. The student is assisted in comprehending and mastering each of the patterns that arise throughout the class through a range of activities. The vocabulary includes terms and idioms from modern Arabic as well as Arabic from the Quran and classical Arabic.
