Angels are involved in human life from the time a person is conceived in his mother's womb until his death and beyond. Angels console the dying or cause them to suffer in the afterlife by bringing their souls forth. Angels will be present on the Day of Judgment until they accompany people to their final destiny in either Paradise or Hell, and on the Last Day, an angel will blast the trumpet. Angels are believed in in some form in practically every human society, both ancient and modern. They were considered daughters of the Almighty by the Arabs prior to the advent of Islam. According to some philosophers, angels are the stars in the sky.
Angels have seen a comeback in popularity in recent years, and they are frequently featured in popular western culture, including movies. However, the Muslim's beliefs are unaffected by these falsehoods. The teachings of the Qur'an and Sunnah, which provide us with all the information we require regarding the reality of the unseen, including the world of angels, form the foundation of our beliefs. Dr. Umar S. al-Ashqar uses Islamic sources in this book to provide us with a thorough understanding of angels, their function in the cosmos, and their interactions with humans both here on Earth and in the hereafter.
